High End Products

The Farmwood Workshop is located in West Greenwich, RI situated on 186 acres of land. We are a specialized saw mill that gathers hardwood and softwood logs for milling. These logs are saved from processing as garden mulch, firewood or ending up in a landfill. The trees in many cases are storm damaged and diseased. Milling these logs for slabs and lumber saves their beauty. It takes pressure off of the forests and jungle wood. By purchasing our wood, you are supporting a strategy of a straight line of raw material to a finish product and the local businesses that participate in this process. The products include tables, kitchen island tops, bar tops, cabinets, post & beam barns, flooring, ship lap walls, floating shelves and fireplace mantles.

Meet Our Mascot!

Chloe and Clementine are Dwarf Nigerian goats and are 3 years old and live at The Farmwood Workshop with Proprietor Greg Mastors. Chloe & Clementine came from a farm that Greg's niece worked at in Jamestown, RI and have a very happy life wandering about the grounds and enjoying the poison ivy amongst nice perennials and annuals that have been freshly planted. UGH! The goats are very social and friendly by nature and just want to be included in everyone's business. They just can't understand why they are not allowed to live indoors or enjoy truck rides with Greg on a daily basis.
